TEEN BUILDS “KINDNESS LIBRARIES” AROUND TOWN

In Sudbury, Massachusetts, Joseph Duggan – a high school junior – built “kindness libraries” at schools in the area, allowing students to borrow children’s books for free.

The libraries are wooden structures that Joseph built that contain books for people to use and return. The libraries also inspire those in the community to donate books to add to the collections.

Now that the libraries have been built and installed, he hopes they remain stocked with children books that reflect positive values, such as peace, kindness, inclusion and community. (Local Lincoln)
