'Saturday Night Live' Executive Producer Lorne Michaels Is Sending Pete Davidson to Get Help

By now you’ve heard that Pete Davidson scared those closest to him and fan after he took to Instagram with a suicidal post. The same day, Davidson appeared on SNL although it was just to introduce musical guests, Miley Cyrus, and Mark Ronson. Many people reached out immediately to Davidson after his post, including ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande who rushed to SNL to see him, but he refused. Now, SNL producer Lorne Michaels has committed to doing everything he can to help Pete including sending him to get help. Davidson will return to the SNL cast in 2019 after the holiday break. A source close to SNL and Davidson said, "Everyone on the cast is hugely protective of him and were obviously upset — particularly Colin Jost and Michael Che on ‘Weekend Update...there’s no talk of him taking time off.”

After an emotional breakdown that sent her to the hospital, Gomez took a ski vacation with her friends and from the looks of the pictures she totally enjoyed herself. The First Image of Will Smith as 'Aladdin" Genie Is Here

Entertainment Weekly has released the first images of the cast for the live action version of Disney's Aladdin. Some people are commenting on Will Smith's appearance as the genie. In the animated movie, the genie was blue. In real life, Smith is just wearing a blue coat with a ponytail and a distinctive beard. It was up in the air as to whether the genie would be a CGI or motion-capture character. Apparently, it's just Will Smith in costume. Aladdin hits theaters on May 24th.

The Teenager Behind ‘Flossing Dance’ Is Suing Fortnite

Russell Horning, aka the Backpack Kid, is joining the likes of 2 Milly and Alfonso Ribeiro, aka Carlton, and suing the creators of Fortnite over the use of his signature dance move. Backpack Kid's history with Epic Games is a little more complicated than the other two. Horning played in the official Fortnite Pro-Am event and at the time said on record with TMZ that it's, "not that big of a deal, I'm just glad it's in the game." Fortnite allows users to earn "cosmetic items" such as dance moves, through regular play. They can also purchase it outright. In May alone, Fortnite racked up $318 million just from cosmetic item purchases. Now, the line of intellectual property comes into play. Can someone really own the rights to a dance move? Can it be proven he is the inventor of the dance? As Backpack Kid said, "I'm just a teen having fun in life, I leave all that other stuff to the adults and management."

"Aquaman" Predicted To Open Big

The anticipation for Aquaman means big money for the film. Deadline reports that the studio is projecting the movie to make $120 million over the extended holiday weekend. The movie has already made close to $300 million worldwide. Critics have had mostly positive things to say about the film as well. Even with strong competition from Mary Poppins Returns and Bumblebee, Aquaman has the inside track on becoming the movie of this holiday season.

Macaulay Culkin Recreates Home Alone Scenes for Google Assistant Commercial

Teaming up with Google to advertise Google Assistant, Macaulay has re-created some of his famous scenes from the 1990 Christmas classic 'Home Alone' and it’s wonderfully nostalgic. Google lets him know that the only item on his calendar for the day is “house to yourself,” which admittedly sounds a lot more novel when you’re an 8-year-old. In a reference to one famous scene in the movie, he realises he’s out of aftershave (though Culkin forgoes his iconic screaming face slap move.) There’s also a nod to the scene where he’s eating ice cream while watching TV, although this is 2018 so of course there’s a cleverly placed tablet next to him. And the terrifying furnace even pops up! Check out the awesome commercial below!
