New iPhones and Watches From Apple

Apple kicked off its annual fall event by announcing new iPhones and wearable devices yesterday. CEO Tim Cook also proudly announced that the company has reached a major milestone and is about to ship its two billionth iOS device. Apple launched the "Series 4" Apple Watch along with three new versions of the iPhone, all of which have edge-to-edge screen display and forgo home buttons. 

Cavill Posts Odd Video After Superman Exit

Henry Cavill has responded to the news of him no longer playing Superman, and it's making fans scratch their heads even more. After the news broke, Cavill, wearing a "Krypton Lifting Team" shirt didn't say a word in the 25 second video, but near the end he lifted a Superman doll in a box to the camera. The caption on the post read, "Today was exciting #Superman." Huh? Anyway, A Warner Bros spokesperson said, "While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films , we've always had a great relationship with Cavill and that remains unchanged." Cavill had always wanted to do a follow-up to 'Man of Steel,' but the company went in another direction and began the Justice League movies. Could this be a sign? 

Bradley Cooper Makes Lady Gaga Cry

Bradley Cooper, director of 'A Star is Born,' brought his co-star Lady Gaga to tears when he talked about her and the experience of filming the movie. "I'm just so glad God gave her the talent that she has and he chose her, because that's quite a vessel to go through," Cooper said on Good Morning America. "Because its really what you do with it, and she's a beautiful human being." Gaga, who was also part of the GMA interview, teared up and returned the compliment. "We had an instant chemistry when I met him." The movie is already getting Oscar buzz and will be in theaters next month.

Missy Elliott Just Surprised The Karaoke Queen On Ellen

Ellen seems to make everything better and she did just that when Missy Elliott surprised her “funky white sister” during her performance of Missy’s song “Work It.” Mary Halsey, an assistant at a nursing and rehab facility took to the stage on the Ellen Show to perform her rendition of Missy’s song which had previously went viral on social media when Halsey performed the song at a BBQ. Missy surprised Halsey, performing with her on stage and giving her a big embrace at the end.

Mac Miller ‘Had Been Dead for Hours Before His Body Was Found Following Rapper’s Tragic Overdose After House Party’

TMZ is reporting that Mac Miller had been dead for hours before his body was found. According to police the house where Miller was found had been swept clean of any drugs. Miller had had a house party the night before and several friends came over, and TMZ says that they had stayed at the home until the early hours on Friday, September 7th. Miller was found around noon on Friday after someone called 911 from the home and reported a cardiac arrest, but sources say that the person may not have realized that Miller was already dead. The cause of death hasn’t been determined, the coroner’s report is still awaiting toxicology results which will take four to six weeks to receive.

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran Take Best Friends Hike to Celebrate Their Competing AMA Nominations

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran take to the trails for a little exercise and AMA talk, the two friends posted a video on Instagram which shows them hiking and discussing who will win an AMA award. In the video Taylor asked Sheeran if he’s okay, Sheeran responds with one “finger” jokingly. Sheeran then takes the camera and tells Swift, "Hey, Taylor, the AMA nominations just came out. It’s me, you, and Drake.” They unanimously say, “You’re gonna win” followed by “Drake’s gonna win.” Swift then poked fun at Sheeran, "It’s called exercise. Have you ever done cardio? Strumming a guitar doesn’t count.” Swift and Sheeran will compete against each other in the Favorite Album Pop/Rock category, Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year.
