This is too cute! If you're single, would you try this? In a 2024 interview, Colman Domingo recounted how a Craigslist "missed connection" at a Berkeley Walgreens led to his marriage.
Tanya Rad shared on-air Colman and his husband of 20 years, Raul, met in 2005 after he noticed a “beautiful” man outside the Walgreens. Coleman didn't approach Raul at the time and a few days later he came across a Craigslist missed connection post posted by Raul.
“I’m walking in and I see someone walking out, has beautiful hair down to here, lip piercing. Beautiful, beautiful,” Colman said on The Graham Norton Show. “I see this guy and we look at each other, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ I’m on the phone and I come outside and we look at each other. He’s talking to this young woman and she seems to be angry about something.”
The Euphoria star was then on Craigslist looking to buy a used computer and decided he might place a “missed connections” ad for the “beautiful” Walgreens stranger because he's a "hopeless romantic."
“I thought, ‘Maybe I’ll place one of those missed connections ads. I wonder if they work,’” he said. “I go to page 2 of them as I’m reading and I see, ‘Saw you outside of Walgreens. Berkeley.’ He placed an ad for me two hours before.”
The couple then met up 3 days later and the rest is history! So, would you try Craigslist as your next dating move?? Watch back for more.
