How's this for inspiring? At just 13, Alena Analeigh Wicker has already been accepted to medical school after graduating high school last year.
Alena shared with Ryan Seacrest she's currently enrolled in two undergraduate programs at Arizona State University and Oakwood University and plans on attending the Heersink School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with the goal of becoming a viral immunologist.
Wicker, who was also awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award's lifetime achievement award, shared what the application process was like, what her friends think, the story behind her creation of Brown Stem Girl and more.
