Couple's Wedding RSVP Offers Meal Tier Based on Guests' Gift Prices

This can’t be real! A couple is allegedly feeding their wedding guests based off wedding gift tiers. Yes, you read that right.

According to the latest viral story, an anonymous couple planning their wedding just sent out an RSVP with different meal tier options for the reception, all based on how expensive the gift you get them is.

A snapshot of the sane RSVP was shared to Reddit's “Wedding Shaming” forum, showing that the future spouses created a four-tiered system of dinner choices, offering guests dishes ranging from chicken or swordfish for gifts in the $250 range to filet mignon or lobster tails for those gifted in the $500 to $1,000 range.

“Everybody should just say their gift was over $1K, eat the 2lb of lobster, and laugh thinking about the couple opening their $40 toaster later,” one comment reads in the forum, while another adds: “That is horrific. My response would be zero and I will bring McDonald’s.”
