Liam Payne Teases One Direction 10-Year Anniversary Reunion Project

One Direction is working on a 10-year anniversary project, according to Liam Payne.

In the star's new interview with The Sun's Bizarre column, Payne, 26, teased the forthcoming project between his former bandmates. โ€œWeโ€™ve got a 10-year anniversary coming up so weโ€™ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,โ€ he told the outlet while promoting his new single, "Midnight," which features Alesso.

"To hear a lot of peopleโ€™s voices and seeing old content and different things that we havenโ€™t seen for a long time or never seen before, it's very interesting," he continued. "At the moment Iโ€™m not sure what Iโ€™m allowed to say. Thereโ€™s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around."

Payne didnโ€™t specify if those plans included collaboration with ZAYN, who infamously quit the band in March 2015, prompting the groupโ€™s hiatus announcement at the end of that year. โ€œBut more than anything itโ€™s just been a real good time for us to connect together again,โ€ he added.

As for their solo projects, Payne described their individual ventures as "insane." "I still canโ€™t believe, I still feel like I donโ€™t know what the hell Iโ€™m doing. Itโ€™s amazing and everyoneโ€™s had such great success," he admitted. "Itโ€™s been great hearing a lot of Harryโ€™s stuff at the moment. 'Adore You,' I see it in the charts all the time. I think heโ€™s really found his sound at the moment which is a joy to watch."
