Joe Exotic’s Former Sister-In-Law Says It'd Be 'Cool' If He Got COVID-19

Joe Exotic's former sister-in-law is not a fan of the Tiger King star.

In an interview with "The Woody Show," the sister of Joe's late husband Travis Maldonado said she's disgusted by Joe, who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence, and wouldn't mind if he contracted the coronavirus.

"He needs to rot. He's a gross man... [he] preys on little boys," Danielle told the radio hosts. Later adding that it would "be cool" if Joe contracted COVID-19 while in prison.

As Tiger King fans know, Joe was in a "throuple" with Travis and John Finlay for years. While the three weren't legally married, they did have a wedding ceremony, which was shown on the show. John, though, eventually called it quits on their unconventional three-person relationship and Joe went on to legally married Travis — a union that Danielle said was built on manipulation and lies as she noted that Travis was not gay.

"Joe singled him out to be a trophy husband," she said. "My brother even told me, 'I'm a trophy husband. It's not a big deal.'"

"They didn't [have sex] often," Danielle continued. "My brother said if [they] did, he needed the drugs to 'get through it.'" She added that Joe preyed on Travis, claiming the zookeeper lied about being sick to manipulate her brother into staying with him. "[Travis] was a child. A 19-year-old is a child," she said, referring to the age her brother was when he met Joe, who was nearly 30 years his senior. "[Joe] would say I'm sick, I'm going to die, you can have the zoo, the lake property all this stuff and I don't think Joe was actually sick."
