Kim Kardashian is clearing the air.
During an appearance on the Wednesday (October 15) episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Kardashians star set the record straight on whether she ever "hooked up" with Travis Barker years before he became her brother-in-law, per People. The rocker has been married to her older sister Kourtney Kardashian since 2022 and the couple are parents to son Rocky Thirteen.
"No, I never have," she said, adding that it "really sucks" that the rumors have continued to spread over the years, especially since he sparked a romance with her sister.
The SKIMS founder emphasized that she was just friends with the blink-182 drummer and would spend time with him when dated her longtime friend Paris Hilton in the past.
"He dated Paris and we were all friends, and we'd all hang out and when I was with Paris. We'd be on the road and go to their tour in Amsterdam," she said, adding, "So I have been friends with him, but never in that way. And never hooked up with him."
Barker said as much himself in his 2015 memoir Can I Say, admitting that while he once had a crush on her, their friendship remained strictly platonic, E! News reports. Kardashian added that Barker was also friends with other members of her family at the time, including Kourtney, so there was "nothing weird" about their relationship.
"Kourtney was around during that time, they were neighbors for a decade," she said. "He was always around with his kids, they'd always come to Kourtney's house for the birthdays. So, everything was super open and cool, everyone's been friends. He was just as good of friends with them as he was with all of us."
Elsewhere in the interview, Kardashian opened up about her divorce from Kanye West, including the "final straw" that led to the end of her marriage.
