The White Lotus as a show is full of drama, intrigue and antics, but the sometimes unsettling atmosphere of the show even translated behind the scenes for the stars of the popular HBO anthology series, including Leslie Bibb.

Bibb joined the cast of The White Lotus for season three, becoming one of the newest actors who have checked in for their stay on the thrilling journey both in front of the camera and beyond. During a recent appearance on her friend Chelsea Handler's podcast Dear Chelsea, she shared how being on the set was a "mind trip" in itself.

Bibb explained that art and life started to blur, pointing out to how she and costar Carrie Coon had similar hairstyles that made it difficult to tell them apart from certain angles, which she said went hand in hand with her own character's experience as well as the motifs of doppelgängers, mirrors and reflections featured on the show.

"You're there long enough and you start to feel like a guest at the White Lotus because you're filming at a hotel, where every you go, it says The White Lotus," she said. "I don't know, it's like a weird mind trip."

She noted that the feeling added to the experience and work on screen.

"Like when we were getting cabin fever from being there for six months and feeling like this sometimes because you're away from home and away from anything that feels like you're normal, I think it actually helped the work," she said. "And I think for the people who love it, I think the fact that [creator Mike White] makes you wait every week also helps to aid the fever pitch of 'I want more.'"

On another recent episode of Dear Chelsea, Handler also chatted with Bibb's White Lotus costar Michelle Monaghan, who revealed some of the behind-the-scenes details that went in to making the show.

On Dear Chelsea, Handler gives out her advice and answers questions sent in by listeners. Often joined by celebrity guests and her co-host Catherine Law, the outspoken comedian gives her honest opinions on a variety of topics like love and sex to loss and family problems, all with the blunt humor and edge she is known for.
