Selena Gomez & DJ Snake Collide On Seductive New Collab 'Selfish Love'

Selena Gomez and DJ Snake’s new collaboration sounds like a sure-fire hit.

The singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated producer unveiled their latest team-up on Thursday (March 4), a sexy and seductive bilingual record titled “Selfish Love.” The song, carried by the smooth, saxophone-embellished rhythms and pulsing 808s, finds Gomez contemplating her envy and whether her sweetheart’s love for her is real.

On the hypnotizing chorus, Gomez croons: “Just a little crush / Got me over here thinkin’ / ‘Does somebody else care, somebody else care?’ / I know we got trust / But you be gettin' me thinkin' / ‘Does somebody else care, somebody else care?’”

“Selfish Love” marks the second time the Disney alum and the DJ have joined forces on a track since they collaborated on the 2018 record “Taki Taki” with Cardi B and Ozuna.

Gomez’s latest song appears on her first Spanish-language EP, Revelación, out on March 12. Earlier this week, the 28-year-old superstar unveiled the track list for the 7-song project, which features previously-released songs “De Una Vez” and "Baila Conmigo (Dance With Me)” featuring Rauw Alejando and Tainy.

Gomez, who announced the EP earlier this month, says she’s “proud” to be emphasizing her heritage in her new music.

"I'm so, so proud of my heritage," she explained. "I actually think I sing better in Spanish. That was something I discovered. It was a lot of work, and look, you cannot mispronounce anything. It is something that needed to be precise, and needed to be respected by the audience I'm going to release this for."
