Bank Is Robbed Via Drive-Thru Window

Of course with the coronavirus pandemic, drive-thrus have up merchandise. But bank robbery? In Bay City, Michigan, Sheriff's deputies are investigating a bank robbery committed through a drive-thru window.

Employees at a Fifth Third Bank in Bangor Township told the responding deputies a male had driven up to the drive-thru window and passed a note demanding money through a pneumatic tube. The teller surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash to the robber who then drove away from the scene.

Deputies are working to obtain surveillance camera footage of the suspect's vehicle.
