The Anchorage Public Library is open! Well, kind of.

The building itself is not open. But, many of the services and resources are open. They have begun the process of increasing library services and re-opening their spaces. The Anchorage Public Library's priority continues to be the safety of patrons and staff.

It may look a little different, but never fear, Summer Reading Program is back at the Anchorage Public Libraries! Create your account online or print out a paper chart to track your reading journey.

Virtual is the way to go these days. Virtual Storytime has been a huge success on the APL's Facebook page. Also, Virtual Book Club's have been very popular too. They even have a "I Read What I Want" book club for those that want to read what they want.

Your Anchorage Public Library is also a great resource for those looking for employment. The Library has many tools to help you find a job or take your career to the next level. Help with resumes, job search tools and opportunities for online learning. Or join one of their weekly Job Lab sessions online to get from one of their Job Lab volunteers.

Books, DVDs, audio book, and so much more material at your finger tips and some capable of easy download via Hoopla. Find thousands of eBooks for adults, children, and teens in their catalog or search directly through Hoopla or Alaska Digital Library (OverDrive). Know a kid who loves books? TumbleBook Library offers animated, narrated picture and chapter books and Hoopla has a great collection of Sesame Street books, movies and comics.
