Jif Peanut Butter Settles How You Should Pronounce Gif
In a brilliant piece of marketing, Jif Peanut Butter is finally settling the debate on how to pronounce the word "gif."
Jif is releasing limited-edition jars of peanut butter with two different labels.
One is spelled GIF and has below it, "Animated looping images. Hard g pronunciation." The second label says JIF and below it says, "Creamy peanut butter. Soft g pronunciation."
The jars are available on Amazon. By the way, March 1st is Peanut Butter day.
Is Pete Davidson's "Saturday Night Live" Run Coming To An End?
Pete Davidson is planning for a future without Saturday Night Live.
In an interview, Charlemagne Tha God asked Davidson where he sees himself in 5 years.
Davidson said, "I want to be a father and I would like to be directing and just writing. My dream is just to write stuff and be able to produce for my friends. That would be the ultimate goal." He thought last year would have left but he stayed.
Davidson went on to say, "Here's the thing: I personally think I should be done with that show because they make fun of me on it." When Charlemagne said that's the whole point of SNL being a sketch comedy show, Davidson said, "I have a weird feeling in that building where I don't know whose team they're playing for really. If I'm the joke or I'm in on the joke."
SZA and Justin Timberlake Dropping New Music
After teasing a potential collaboration with Justin Timberlake, SZA has come through on her word and the song will be coming soon.
The song, which will be released on February 26, will be part of the new Trolls World Tour movie soundtrack.
The title of the song is "The Other Night" and a tease of the record is on JT's Instagram page.
The song will be released to the masses at 11 am.
Post Malone Pays Tribute to Mac Miller in Pittsburgh
While performing in Pittsburgh, Post Malone showed love to Pittsburgh native Mac Miller.
When Post hit the stage at PPG paints Arena hit sported a custom-made shirt that read, "R.I.P. Mac Miller."
Post had been wearing the shirt after Mac's tragic death, but when he hit the stage with the shirt, fans went crazy.
Disney Names New CEO
After the announcement of Bob Iger stepping down as CEO of Disney, a new CEO has been named.
Disney has named Bob Chapek the new CEO of the company.
Before being named CEO Chapek was the chairman of DisneyParks, Experiences, and Products and will be only the seventh CEO of the House of Mouse.
As for Bob Iger, he will remain, executive chairman, until the end of his contract on December 31, 2021.
