Giant Firework Sets New World Record

A massive firework launched over Steamboat Springs, Colorado, has set a record for being the world's largest. The 2,800-pound shell flew 2,200 feet above the Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival before it burst, turning the sky bright red -- and breaking the record. The firework was 400 pounds heavier than the previous record-holder, which was exploded over the United Arab Emirates in 2018. (The Denver Post)
