Kesha Plots Release Date For New Album 'High Road'

Kesha's delayed album, High Road, has a new release date and the pop star took to social media on Sunday (December 22) to share the news.

Alongside a new photo of herself, Kesha, 32, revealed that the follow-up to 2017's Rainbow will be released on January 31, 2020. "Taking the high road January 31," she captioned the moody photo. Earlier this month, she dropped the LP's third single, "Resentment," and its accompanying music video. It joined previously-released lead single, "Raising Hell," and "My Own Dance."

In addition to steadily releasing new tracks, the comeback kid has also launched her new makeup line, Kesha Rose Beauty, and it appears that the venture is affiliated with the upcoming 15-track collection. "Every shade [in the eyeshadow palette] is a different song title, whether it's old school, or yet to be released, and the light pink is an unreleased track," she previously told Billboard. "There's a little story behind each shade."

High Road was originally scheduled to drop sometime this month, but was pushed back to 2020. The set features co-writing credits from Pebe, Wrabel, Justin Tranter, Tayla Parx, Nate Ruess, and Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons. Meanwhile, the production was spearheaded by Jeff Bhasker, Ryan Lewis, among others.
