Christmas came early for Ariana Grande fans!
After months of anticipation, the “Light Is Coming” singer-songwriter finally answered our prayers with the release of her long-awaited live concert album, K Bye For Now (Swt Live). The record, which officially arrived in the wee hours of Monday morning (December 23), comes fully-loaded with 32 tracks from Grande’s extensive music catalog, primarily those produced from her two recent albums, Thank U, Next and Sweetener.
K Bye For Now, which features live recordings from Grande’s “Sweetener World Tour,” premiered right after Grande wrapped the final night of her global jaunt in Inglewood, California. “God Is a Woman,” “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” “Side to Side,” “Love Me Harder,” and “7 Rings” are among some of Grande's greatest hits to receive live recordings on the effort.
The “Sweetener World Tour” launched in Albany, New York, in March, and encompassed over 100 performances throughout the United States and Canada. Much of the jaunt featured set lists comprised of Grande’s last two albums, the latest of which earned the “Successful” musician several 2020 Grammy nominations.
With 2019’s Thank U, Next, the music industry's hardest working woman bagged five nods including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance (for “7 Rings”), and Bests Pop Duo/Group Performance for her summer jam “Boyfriend” with Social House.
