WOMAN COLLECTS 160,000 CARDS FOR TROOPS OVERSEAS

In Hollis, New Hampshire, Laura Landerman-Garber has turned a family tradition into a big-time charity effort as she will be sending more than 160,000 holiday cards to overseas troops this year.

Laura just wants the troops to know that we’re thinking of them at this time of year, so she started Holiday Cards for Our Military -- and accepts donated cards from all over the country.

Her house will be filled with cards and her time will be spent organizing them until she finally sends them to all five military branches, all over the world, on December 15th. (WBZ-TV)
