Dave Chappelle Says Comedy ‘Saved My Life’ As He Accepts the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

Dave Chappelle has earned the Mark Twain award for American humor, which is the highest award that a comedian can receive. 

Several celebrities paid tribute to Chappelle throughout the evening including his writing partner Neal Brennan, Bradley Cooper Tiffany Haddish, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Lorne Michaels, Trevor Noah, and Jon Stewart. 

Actor and comedian Eddie Murphy praised Chappelle via video for being, “the most intellectual comedian ever.”

Britney Spears Shares Video of Her Outdoor Yoga Workout in a String Bikini

Britney Spears took to Instagram to share a video of her Sunday afternoon yoga session with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. 

The pop star worked out in an aqua string bikini as she went through a series of poses and exercises that included handstands, shoulder stretches, backbends and ending with Spears walking up and down stairs on her hands. 

'Only in LA can you wear a bathing suit in October! It’s so beautiful out .... and first time to walk on my hands up and down the stairs …” Britney’s caption read.

Lady Gaga's Golden Globes Dress to Go Up for Auction by Maid But May Be Stolen

Lady Gaga’s 2019 Golden Globes dress is up for auction but it could be a stolen item. 

According to TMZ the Valentino Haute Couture periwinkle blue gown was designed specifically for Lady Gaga and has a cascading silk faille and a 10-foot train.

The dress was designed in honor of the one Judy Garland wore during her 1954 role in A Star Is Born. 

A note from the maid who found the dress in a Beverly Hilton hotel room accompanied the dress which is being auctioned by Nate D. Sanders Auctions for $8,000.

John Legend And Kelly Clarkson To Update "Baby, It's Cold Outside"

The holiday classic Baby, It's Cold Outside has become a lightning rod for controversy over the last few years. The song's lyrics haven't held up well in modern times.

John Legend and Kelly Clarkson are working on updating the song to make it less offensive to some. 

Legend revealed in his Vanity Fair interview that Insecure writer and actress Natasha Rothwell helped him change out some of the questionable lyrics.

The album A Legendary Christmas is due out soon. 

United Airlines Unveils "Star Wars" Themed Plane

If you are traveling this upcoming holiday season, you might find yourself riding alongside X-Wings and TIE Fighters. 

United Airlines will fly a Boeing 737 aircraft with Star Wars images on the plane. Along with the X-Wing and TIE fighter, there's a light saber on the tail.

The partnership is to promote Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker. The airline will feature characters from the movie in their flight safety videos as well as provide passengers with special Star Wars-themed amenity kits. 

The plane will fly on North American, Carribean and Central American routes starting in November.

Jane Fonda Accepts BAFTA Award During Arrest

Jane Fonda accepted an award while she was being arrested at the U.S. Capitol on Friday.

The actress, who was supposed to attend BAFTA L.A.’s annual celebration Friday night to accept the Stanley Kubrick award for excellence in film, was part of a demonstration to bring awareness to climate change earlier that day. As she was led off in zip-tie cuffs, she gave her acceptance speech. “Thank you BAFTA,” Fonda said in a video posted on social media. “BAFTA, thank you for the Stanley Kubrick award for excellence in film. I’m sorry I’m not there, I’m very honored.” 

This is the third week in a row that the acting legend has been arrested for allegedly unlawfully demonstrating while protesting. Ted Danson was arrested with her on Friday.
