Billie Eilish In Hot Water

Billie Eilish has made a name for herself in music this year, but also made a name for herself in the world of fashion. After starring in ad campaigns for Calvin Klein and partnering with a number of brands on limited edition merch lines, the 17-year-old is under fire for her latest collaboration.

Shortly after announcing a line with Siberia Hills that features new tees and hoodies with anime characters and designs, fans were quick to point out the design looked an awful lot like the character Nozomi Tojo from Love Live!. Turns out that the image was actually taken from fan art created by artist Makoto Kurokawa.

Anime fans took to Twitter to voice their outrage of course, not only alleging plagiarism but also slamming Siberia Hills for being an illegitimate brand. Luckily though, Billie's team saw the problem and removed the merch from all platforms immediately, and Siberia Hills issued an apology that Billie put on her Instagram story.
