Shawn Mendes Recalls High School Bullying In Instagram Post

Shawn Mendes opened up about how he was bullied in high school. He posted an inspirational message for others on Instagram.

With a photo of him on stage, Mendes wrote, “I’m thinking about being in 9th grade right now. The day after I posted one of my first covers onto YouTube back in 2014, at school walking down the hall straight into a group of older guys yelling out ‘Ssing for me Shawn sing for me!’ in a way that made me feel absolutely horrible... made me feel like a joke, like what I was doing was just stupid and wrong.”

He continued, "It’s not [a] joke to me. To make someone feel bad about doing what they love... every single person deserves to do what makes them feel alive.”

In spite of being bullied, Mendes' family and friends refused to let him give up on his dream.

“Aladdin” Is Still Crushing the Box Office

I'm not sure if you know this, but "Aladdin" is still doing well in the box office despite other movies not having the success they expected.

"Aladdin" is still in the top three at the box office and after this weekend, the film has passed $800 million worldwide.

Many are scratching their head and wondering why "Aladdin" is still doing so well after subpar reviews, fan complaints about Will Smith's Genie character, and you have to throw in the fact that the film lost 121 theaters last weekend.

Robert Pattinson Drops Out of Movie

After landing the role of Batman, Robert Pattinson's calendar is filling fast. So fast that he's had to drop out of a movie because of his busy schedule.

According to a report, Pattinson will won't be in the sequel to "The Souvenir." Filming was supposed to start next month, but that conflicts with him filming a Christopher Nolan film called "Tenet."

Seeing Pattinson as Batman won't be affected, he begins filming that movie right after he's done with "Tenet."

"Friends" Friends Share Selfie

If you ever wondered if the ladies of Friends still get along, a selfie is the proof.

Lisa Kudrow shared a picture Sunday night on Instagram of herself with Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox.

The post was tagged #GirlsNight with another caption that said, "Halfway there." No doubt referring to the other cast members David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc.

This is the second time in a month that the ladies posted a selfie. They did it just a week ago when Cox celebrated her birthday.
