Disney Confirms Deadpool for MCU
Disney has confirmed that Deadpool indeed has a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Disney chairman Alan Horn made the confirmation at CinemaCon with the help of some tweets from Deadpool saying, "You'll be seeing more of Deadpool in years to come."
The presentation further solidified the soon to come merger of the universes of Marvel and the X-Men.
The Weeknd Sued
The Weeknd is being sued by three British songwriters for allegedly ripping off their music for his song "A Lonely Night."
The songwriters named the Weeknd, Universal Music Group, and others in the lawsuit for the song that appears on Weeknd's "Starboy" album.
The songwriters have made a clip of the alleged similarities and posted them to YouTube for others to hear for themselves.
The amount of damages the songwriters are looking to get is not specified.
TLC Will Headline Nashville Pride Festival
It's just been announced that TLC will be the headlining act for this year's Nashville Pride Festival.
The festival takes place on June 22 and 23 at NashvillePublicSquarePark and other artists performing will be Neon Trees, Cakes Da Killa, Brody Ray, and more.
TLC's headline night will be on Sunday.
Beyoncé And Adidas Announce Partnership
Fans of Beyoncé might soon become stans for Adidas.
A partnership between the two powerhouses was announced on Thursday.
Beyoncé will be a creative partner with Adidas to help develop "signature footwear and apparel."
Beyoncé's Ivy Park clothing line will also move over to Adidas.
Billboard Award Nominations Have Been Released
Who's up for a 2019 Billboard Music Award?
Cardi B leads all contenders with 21 nominations including a nod for Top Artist. Other performers in that category are Drake, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, and Travis Scott.
Drake and Post Malone have 17 nominations. Ariana Grande and Travis Scott have 12 nominations each.
Kelly Clarkson will host the Billboard Music Awards on May 1st.
Will Vin Diesel Be In The New "Avatar" Sequels?
Vin Diesel posted a video with James Cameron on Instagram.
Cameron explained that he was on the set of the Avatar sequels. Cameron joked that he would have to use the Men In Black flash to wipe Diesel's memory clean.
Diesel said, "There is one person in Hollywood I've always wanted to work with and learn from. I am learning now."
We don't really know what kind of role Diesel might have in the upcoming Avatar sequels but it looks like he will be doing something.
