Avril Lavigne Announces Comeback

Avril Lavigne hopes “more than ANYTHING to be back onstage." The 33-year-old pop star announced her comeback single “Head Above Water.” Avril said she wrote the song laying in her mother’s arms at a point where she felt like she was going to die. She has been battling Lyme disease. Avril said the past few years have been “the worst of her life” but she turned that pain and fight into music. Her new single will drop on September 15th.

Boys II Men Member Gets DIY Series

Boyz II Men member Nathan Morris is going from singing about MotownPhilly to building MotownPhilly in a new DIY Network series called, 'Hit Properties with Nathan Morris.' The four part series will debut on October 6 at 10:30 p.m. and will follow Nathan's quest to transform an 8,200 neglected mansion into a modern marvel. Nathan is hands on during the show and helps "Nate-a-cize" the mansion to support it's multi-million dollar price tag. Don't think he's a stranger to real estate. Nate's done some lucrative real estate deals and has dabbled in construction. 

Four New ‘A Star Is Born’ Peeks Released

This October, the latest remake of 'A Star Is Born' hits theaters starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Now Warner Bros is sharing four new sneak peeks at the film that's already getting high praise. The movie is set around a struggling artist (Lady Gaga) who meets a famous musician (Bradley Cooper) and the two find success, comfort, and love. The new scenes show Gaga and Cooper singing together and a scene that includes Dave Chappelle. 

Post Malone Involved in Car Crash

Post Malone is bent on cheating injury. First, he was blessed to be okay after an airplane malfunction a couple of weeks ago. Early Friday morning, he was involved in a car accident. The collision happened in West Hollywood, California at 2:42 am. Post was in his own Rolls-Royce being driven by an assistant. No one was injured in the crash. Post wrote on Twitter after the accident, "God must hate me, lol."

Oscars Pull Award For Most Popular Movie

The Academy Awards have gotten rid of an award that they just created. The Oscar for Most Popular Movie was supposed to provide inclusion for blockbuster movies that rarely get award consideration. Some people in the industry didn't like the idea of causing a divide between critically acclaimed movies and films that are popular and make a lot of money. A statement was released on Thursday saying, "The Academy recognized that implementing any new award nine months into the year creates challenges for films that have already been released." The Academy also said, "We recognize the need for further discussion with our members."

Matthey McConaughey Transforms into "The Beach Bum"

A trailer for the new Matthew McConaughey movie The Beach Bum came out on Friday. In the film, McConaughey plays Moondog. He's described as a "rebellious stoner." The movie also features Snoop Dogg, Isla Fisher, Jimmy Buffett, Zac Efron and Martin Lawrence. The comedy is scheduled to be in theaters on March 22, 2019.
