The D-List: Friday

Adam Sandler, Subway Performer

How do you unwind after shooting a Netflix comedy special? If you’re Adam Sandler, you go sing in the subway. And there’s video, which you can see here.

Sandler – who shot his special at Comic Strip Live in New York City Wednesday – tried to be incognito in a hoodie, but straphangers easily recognized his distinctive voice. He was doing some new songs – some quite raunchy. One was about him walking in on his parents having sex.

At one point, Adam told the people, “Scary [stuff] is coming.” They stuck around anyway.

Selena Gomez Wishes Justin Bieber Happy Birthday

Justin Bieber turned 24 yesterday and it didn’t go unnoticed by his rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Selena shared a birthday message for Biebz on Instagram, although she didn’t actually mention him by name. She shared a picture of herself with a polaroid picture on her forehead, and captioned it, “March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom.”

Meghan Trainer Drops “No Excuses”

Meghan Trainer just dropped her new single “No Excuses,” which is the first track from her upcoming third album.

The singer also talks to “Billboard” about her struggles after undergoing her second vocal surgery in two years, noting, “I thought all my dreams were taken away from me," adding, "Those were dark days." Meghan says she got “mentally destroyed” after surgery, and says now fiancé Daryl Sabara “brought me back,” noting, “We’ve never been better, and life has never been better.”

So, if she’s so happy, why didn’t she choose a love song for her first single? “I knew it’d be too obvious -- I can’t give them what they want yet!,” she jokes. “And if it wasn’t this song, it was gonna be a dance song, so the love songs are saved for the album and later singles, hopefully.”

Amy Schumer Got Ring-Shamed

Size matters, but not when it comes to love. Clearly some of Amy Schumer’s fans didn’t get the memo

In case you missed it, the comedienne was photographed flashing her ring at Monday’s Knicks-Warriors game. When the trolls got a look at the bling, they came out in force. “Hmmm. Hold on…my eyesight must be going,” one woman said. Another said, “That sure is a tiny chip in her ring.” Yet another said, “The only rock I see is Chris” – a reference to Chris Rock, who was in the audience.

While Mrs. Chris Fischer hasn’t responded to the critics, one of her fans had the most classic clapback – “Yeah, [because] marriage is all about the ring.”

Camila Cabello & Charli XCX To Open For Taylor Swift

As if Taylor Swift’s “reputation Stadium Tour” wasn’t already a hot ticket, Taylor just announced that Camila Cabello and Charli XCX will be the opening acts on the trek, which kicks off May 8th in Phoenix, Arizona.

Taylor confirmed the news just hours after Us Weekly first reported that Camila was in talks for the gig, calling it at the time "99 percent a done deal."

And there's no doubt opening for Taylor is a great opportunity.  Many of Taylor’s past openers went on to huge success, including Ed Sheeran, who opened her “Red” tour, and Shawn Mendes, who was a guest on the “1989” tour.
