You probably know Riz Ahmed as the star of the HBO show, "The Night Of," or maybe from his role in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." As it turns out, the actor is also a rapper and he lent his talents to the "Hamilton Mixtape" for the track, "Immigrants (We Get the Job Done)."
A video for the song has been released and it features groups of immigrants at their various jobs before showing Ahmed, known as Riz MC, on a crowded New York City subway.
"Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda released the video for "Immigrants (We Get the Job Done)" as promotion for his Prizeo charity campaign. Donors are entered for a chance to win two VIP tickets to the Los Angeles premiere of "Hamilton" along with passes for the after party and a meet and greet with Miranda himself!
Proceeds from the contest go to the Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition, a collection of charities working to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees.
