Wipe down all shelves and any sticky surfaces weekly, including the handle, with warm water and soap, and dry thoroughly. Also be sure to toss out food stuffs that are past their prime. 5. Your makeup brushes
How often: Monthly

6. Your coffee maker

7. Your pillows
How often: Twice a year
As you sleep, you sweat and loose dead skin cells that can accumulate in your pillows. Strip pillows and wash in warm water with liquid detergent, and run a second rinse cycle to be sure that all detergent is removed. Dry on low heat. Even synthetic and down-filled should have cleaning and care instructions on the label, or on the manufacturer’s website. 8. Your keyboard and computer mouse
How often: twice per month
Because basically of us has job that requires a computer, your keyboard will inevitably collect everything that your hands have touched, plus food tidbits. Clean your keyboard by unplugging/turning it off first, then spray crevices with compressed air or gently shake it upside down. Next gently wipe down keys with a damp microfiber cloth.
9. Your remote control

Unless you’re only using your remote control after thorough hand-washing, it’s just sitting there collecting germs.
