The Girdwood Forest Fair is a FREE family fair that has become an annual event in the resort town of Girdwood, Alaska.
This year event times are as follows:
Friday, July 4 ~ 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday, July 5 ~ 10:00 am Parade (starts at the Daylodge)
Saturday, July 5 ~ 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday, July 6 ~ 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
The Girdwood Forest Fair features Alaskan artists, hand-crafted items, exotic foods and entertainers from all over Alaska.
The fairgrounds are located at Mile 2.2 on the Alyeska Highway in the community park area. Limited parking is available at the Alyeska Resort Daylodge with Shuttle service provided.
***Car pooling is encouraged, or even better, check out the $5 bus to and from Anchorage!
