A new icon award will be introduced at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards and the inaugural winner will be Taylor Swift.
Swift is nominated for three awards, but as the first-ever Teen Choice Icon Award winner, the singer will be etched in Teen Choice history forever.
Stated in a press release about the new award, “Taylor Swift is a pop culture icon whose accolades and achievements go beyond topping music charts and selling out stadiums worldwide.” Her social media presence was also noted as "inspiring positive change."

Lilly Singh’s Late-Night Show Gets a Start Date
A premiere date for You-Tube star Lilly Singh's late-night show on NBC has been released.
The show, titled "A Little Late," will premiere September 16 and will have a gender-equal writing staff.
The show will feature your traditional interviews as well as comedy video bits, and more.
Lilly's show will air at 1:35 am, taking the place of Carson Daly's "Last Call" and will make her the only woman hosting a show on late-night tv.

David Benioff and Dan Weiss are currently in talks with other companies on a new deal that could include TV and movie development.
