Reporter Implies Chrissy Teigen is "Irrelevant"

John Legend doesn’t let anyone mess with his family, especially his wife Chrissy Teigen. Legend wasn’t amused by a recent tweet about his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and he immediately took to Twitter to defend her. It all began during the 2018 Emmys when Texas reporter Heidi Alagha implied through a tweet that Teigen was only invited to events and relevant because she was married to Legend. “Chrissy Teigen is beautiful but does she have to be included in everything just because she’s married to John Legend?” Alagha tweeted. Her fans know that Teigen has an impressive resume all her own, and doesn’t need her husband’s fame to propel her. She’s a model, author and television host. Teigen’s biggest fan, her husband, immediately came to her defense after the tweet went viral. While Alagha’s tweet garnered a number of opposing views online,  Legend was not impressed by the reporter’s remarks and wasn’t shy in letting her know it.He tweeted in response saying, “A reporter who doesn’t know how to use Google. How sad.” Teigen kept her cool, but did respond, simply tweeting "breathe, chrissy..."

(Alagha has since deleted her tweet)
