Adele Films CBS Special And A Few Fans “Casually Stumbled” Across It

As we told you, Adele will star in a new CBS concert special and interview next month, and apparently she shot the concert portion this past weekend at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

According to “Us Weekly,” the audience at the filming was made up of a whole host of A-list stars, including Drake, Kris Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi, James Corden, Sarah Paulson, Lizzo, and Gordon Ramsay, along with Adele’s ex-husband Simon Konecki, who sat with their nine-year-old son Angelo.

  • Meanwhile, one lucky fan accidentally got a sneak peek at the performance. LA resident Joey Pucino tweeted that he was hiking in the area when he “casually stumbled” upon Adele filming the special.
  • “The observatory was closed,” Pucino tells the New York Post. “So I took an alternate trail up mount Hollywood. I was just admiring the view when suddenly we heard her performing.” He adds, “I couldn’t see her directly, but could see the stage and projection of her. We could hear the audience cheering and heard a handful of songs.” He also posted a some clips of what he heard.

“Adele: One Night Only” will air on November 14th on CBS.
