Beyonce’s ‘Homecoming’ Premiere on Netflix Drew 1.1 Million U.S. Viewers, Nielsen Says

Beyonce proves she has what it takes to set Netflix on fire! Her live concert video “Homecoming” drew 1.1 million U.S. viewers when it premiered on April 17th, according to Nielsen.

63 percent of "Homecoming" viewers were African-American, with 70 percent of the people that viewed the documentary in the first seven days were women.

"Homecoming" boasted an audience of 55 percent over the first seven days, which is more than any Netflix film or series to date. The closest to hit the mark was "Bird Box" with 24 percent.

Beyonce has two more Netflix specials that are going to be released, which could mean even bigger numbers for the streaming platform.

Keanu Reeves to Be Honored

Actor Keanu Reeves had a most excellent day yesterday as he got the chance to be immortalized at Hollywood's famous TCL Chinese Theatre.

That's right the "John Wick" star cemented his place in Hollywood history by placing his handprint and signature in cement at the theatre.

When I tell you this it may be hard to believe, but the 54-year-old actor has been in almost 100 movies and TV roles during his career and doesn't look to be slowing down.

There are rumors of another "Matrix" installment, another "Bill and Ted" film is coming soon, plus Reeves stars in "John Wick: Chapter 3" this Friday.

Bill Nye Dropping F Bombs Urging Us Get Our Sh*t Together On Climate Change Is A Must See

Remember Bill Nye the Science Guy? He taught us about molecules and combustion in the 90s and he was everyone’s favorite Science teacher, however, now Bill Nye is at his wit's end and he dropped an “F-bomb” so we’d know he’s serious.

Nye was a guest on Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, and he demonstrated just how serious climate change is.

As Bill Nye put it the Earth is on “f___ing fire!” Nye says we can do something to change course, pointing at a fire extinguisher, a bucket of sand and a blanket.

Nye then says climate change solutions aren’t free, “Nothing’s free, you idiots. Grow the f___ up. You’re not children anymore. I didn’t mind explaining photosynthesis to you when you were 12. But you’re adults now, and this is an actual crisis, got it?”
