“Good Old Days” follows Macklemore’s previously released singles “Glorious,” featuring Skylar Grey, and “Marmalade,” featuring Lil Yachty. It marks Kesha’s first appearance on a single since 2013’s “Timber” with Pitbull. The singer released her third studio album Rainbow in August, the first record since 2012’s Warrior.

The singer appeared on DeGeneres’ talk show this past Friday as well to perform her powerful anthem “Praying,” the lead single off her latest album. Although she doesn’t mention Dr. Luke by name, many people believe the song is about her former producer, who she accused of sexual assault. Ryan Lewis, who collaborated with Macklemore on his last two albums, produced the track.

Since releasing their duet last week, Macklemore and Kesha performed the song at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, and also premiered its music video. Kesha said on Twitter about the track, “My new song w @macklemore reminds me of being 16 chasing wild dreams not knowing those moments would be so precious.” The nostalgic collaboration reflects on the music stars’ lives before they became famous.

Macklemore will embark on his Gemini tour beginning October 6, while Kesha’s six-week Rainbow tour kicks off in Birmingham, Alabama on September 26. “My new album Rainbow is dedicated to my fans. And I’m so excited to be able to invite you all to come boogie with me on my new Rainbow Tour,” Kesha said in a statement. “I would not have made it to this point without my animals and supporters so now come out and join the celebration with me.” Watch Macklemore and Kesha perform “Good Old Days” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in the video below!
